As a SharePoint Solutions Consultant, you will be in a leading role on exciting projects with a focus on employee experience. You will be advising, architecting, and overseeing the implementation of best-practice solutions in a range of Microsoft technologies, with a focus on SharePoint.

The budgeted salary for this role is between £60,000 and £75,000, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support on business strategy, objectives, success metrics, and overall solutions design.
  • Consult and design solutions where out of the box can be used across the Employee Experience platform (Viva, SharePoint, Teams).
  • Assist with migration designs for unstructured data migrations to SharePoint Online.
  • Create solutions designs with the end user in mind and their end-to-end journey.
  • Ensure the solutions design adheres to licensing, infrastructural, QA, technical and other platform constraints.
  • Consult on the development of custom solutions, monitoring and managing consistency against the original solutions design as the owner of the end-to-end user journey and experience.
  • Evaluate and create impact analysis on major design options and assessing and managing associated risks.
  • Provide sizing estimates for delivery of components.
  • Optional but not required, build design artefacts such as Product Descriptions, Mock-ups, Wireframes, and user stories.
  • Optional but not required, Power Platform solutions design.
  • Work closely with the business development team to ensure customers are assisted and advised properly.
  • Ensure reliable cost, effort, and risk estimates are produced.
  • Provide input for bids and sales proposals regarding information architecture and design, intranets, and the Viva suite.
  • Facilitate formal workshops on implementation and migration strategy and information architecture.
  • Facilitate formal workshops for the implementation of intranets.
  • Work with and support project managers to ensure that budget and technical risks are managed appropriately.
  • Working with the other solutions consultants to continually improve processes and create reusable collateral for project delivery and workshops.
  • Guide the analysis of UX data related to business requirements identifying options for consideration.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience working in a similar, consulting-led role advising and guiding clients on transformative projects.
  • Hands-on experience working with the Microsoft product stack (SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Viva Suite).
  • Previous Microsoft Partner experience preferred.
  • Experience leading workshops, consulting directly with clients and gathering requirements.
  • Experience leading projects in a services or consulting organisation/practice.
  • Experience supporting future sales, proposal writing and identifying additional opportunities within current clients.
  • Eligibility for security clearance.

Please note you need to be eligible to obtain Security Clearance (SC) for this role. This typically requires British nationality and 5 years residency in the UK.
