As an Azure Sales Specialist you will lead initial customer conversations, align requirements to Azure services, and determine when deeper technical engagement is required. Simpler opportunities may be supported end‑to‑end, with complex scenarios progressed alongside Azure Architects.

Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Managers to uncover and qualify Microsoft Azure opportunities
- Translate customer challenges into Microsoft Azure ‑ aligned use cases
- Build and progress pipeline across infrastructure, migration, optimisation, security, resilience and modernisation
- Lead early‑stage discovery and provide high‑level solution scoping
- Engage Azure Architects where technical depth is required
- Support opportunity shaping, forecasting, and deal closure
- Maintain accurate pipeline and opportunity data
Experience and Qualifications
Essential:
- Experience in software, cloud, or technology sales (VAR, MSP, or IT services preferred)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud consumption models
- Strong consultative selling and stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable:
- Experience supporting Microsoft Azure opportunities in a sales or pre‑sales role
- Understanding of Microsoft CSP and cloud commercial models
- Experience working with technical architects or consultants
- Microsoft / Azure certifications (or willingness to work towards them)
