  • Customer Solutions Lead - AI
  • Position Overview

As Customer Solutions Lead, you operate as one of two AI leads for the UK operating within the wider ecosystem that is the Advania Group.

You will also be an ambassador for Advania's sovereign AI platform.

You will have the opportunity to sit at the intersection of our sovereign AI proposition and local customer needs; you will translate business problems into AI solutions, co-design with customers, and work with the central Customer Solutions team to architect and deliver outcomes that run on the shared platform.

The technology behind the sovereign AI platform is a locally hosted system that supports multiple users and uses NVIDIA AI Enterprise tools.

It provides a wide range of AI features and acts as a smart gateway, connecting local large language models (LLMs) with cloud-based frontier models when needed.

It does not depend on larger hyperscaler AI services.

Salary & Benefits

We will offer a competitive base salary for this role, alongside the company benefits that can be found here.

Hybrid working

We recognise the benefits that remote and flexible working brings.

We operate a hybrid working policy that allows our employees to balance time in the office and time from home.

Each team within our organisation can decide how to implement this policy.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement and Co-Creation
  • Lead discovery and scoping with enterprise customers to identify high-value sovereign AI use cases grounded in their business context.
  • Co-create AI solutions with customers, running workshops, proofs-of-concept, and design sprints.
  • Act as the trusted technical and commercial AI advisor for key accounts in your country.
  • Manage customer expectations throughout solution delivery and ensure outcomes are measurable and documented.
  • Solution Architecture and Delivery
  • Design end-to-end AI solution architectures built on our sovereign AI platform.
  • Translate platform capabilities (models, APIs, tooling) into client-ready solutions tailored to vertical or functional contexts.
  • Lead or oversee AI engineering and delivery work for country customers, coordinating with central engineering as needed.
  • Contribute to and reuse the shared library of accelerators and solution blueprints; feed local insights back to central.
  • Ensure all AI solutions adhere to Advania's Trusted AI standards, including data governance, privacy, and model transparency requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

Experience

  • Experience in a solution architecture, AI engineering, or technical consulting role, ideally in an enterprise B2B context.
  • Demonstrable experience designing and delivering AI or data solutions for customers (not internal or academic projects).
  • Background in one or more of: NLP/LLM applications, AI-enabled automation, predictive analytics, or knowledge management systems.
  • Experience working with cloud AI services (Azure Open AI, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI or similar).
  • Track record of leading customer workshops and translating business requirements into technical designs.
  • Nice to Have
  • Prior exposure to sovereign cloud, data residency, or regulated-sector AI deployments.
  • Experience in one of Advania's key verticals: public sector, financial services, healthcare, or manufacturing.
  • Existing network of enterprise customer relationships in your country market.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot ecosystem, Azure AI Foundry, or similar enterprise AI platforms.
  • Familiarity with the NVIDIA AI Enterprise ecosystem, in particular NVIDIA Blueprints and NIMs.
  • Knowledge of Nordic or UK data protection regulations (GDPR, NIS2, DPA 2018) and their implications for AI systems.

How to prepare for a job interview at Advania Group

Brush Up on Your Coding Skills

For a full-time software engineering role, it's crucial that we stay sharp with our coding abilities. Expect technical questions that might involve solving problems on the spot or discussing algorithms. Practise on platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank to get comfortable with the types of questions that often come up.

Know Your Tools and Frameworks

Make sure we’re well-acquainted with the tools and technologies listed in the job description. Familiarise ourselves with any specific frameworks or programming languages mentioned. If Advania Group uses React or Node.js, for instance, be ready to discuss how we’ve used them in previous projects or coursework.

Showcase Your Projects

Bring along a portfolio that highlights our best work. This could be code samples, GitHub repositories, or any side projects we’ve built. Make sure we can talk through our thought process for each project, especially the challenges we faced and how we solved them—this shows our problem-solving skills in action.

Prepare for Behavioural Questions

While technical skills are key, full-time positions also require cultural fit. Be ready to discuss our previous experiences and how we handle teamwork, conflict, and deadlines. Brush up on the STAR method—Situation, Task, Action, Result—to clearly articulate our past experiences when discussing how we've contributed to a team.
