As a Credit Risk Administrator you will play a critical role in enabling sales while safeguarding the business against financial loss. You will make well-informed credit decisions, rapid risk assessment, and balance commercial objectives with robust risk controls. Speed, accuracy and sound judgement are essential to the success of both the Credit Risk team and the wider business.

Responsibilities
- Making informed decisions on credit limits, terms, and order release.
- Releasing sales orders held pending credit approval in line with risk appetite and policy.
- Identifying, investigating, and mitigating potential fraud risks.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer and credit data on the system.
- Supporting the wider Credit Risk team in managing exposure and protecting company cash flow.
- Assessing and reviewing new customer credit applications, including credit checks, financial analysis, and account setup.
- Analysing and monitoring the credit risk of existing and prospective customers.
Experience and Qualifications
- An enthusiastic individual looking to begin or develop a career in Credit Risk, Credit Control, or Finance.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders (Sales, Finance, Operations) and external customers.
- High attention to detail with a structured and analytical approach.
- Strong critical-thinking skills with the confidence to make commercial, risk-based decisions.
- Ability to work under pressure in a time-sensitive environment while maintaining accuracy and control.
- The ability to liaise in person and over Microsoft Teams with internal/external stakeholders.
