This is a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative company, who are based in Bedford - they offer a very buzzy and positive office environment, with a great team to work with!

The Role:

  • This exciting and fast-paced role will involve being at the very start of the sales process.
  • You will be pro-actively contacting businesses that have expressed an interest in my client's various products and services.
  • The aim is to qualify the need, discuss the options available and then to arrange for an account manager to speak with the potential client - there is no need to close the sale in this role.
  • Converting inbound and outbound leads into appointments - Business to Business.
  • Proactively call clients who have expressed an interest/quote.
  • Generate Sales Opportunities.
  • Manage existing accounts - upselling and cross selling.
  • Updating the database with customer information.
  • Generating, building and maintaining close working relationships with clients.
  • Communicating with customers via email and telephone.

The Person:

  • Ideally at least 1 year's experience working within a Sales Environment.
  • This role would suit someone from the following background: Account Manager, Business Development Manager, Sales Executive, Internal Sales, External Sales or Sales Manager.
  • B2B or B2C telephone sales skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Attention to detail.

This is a full-time permanent position offering a starting basic salary of £26,000 - £27,000 with a realistic OTE of £45,000. The basic salary is likely to increase following successful completion of your probationary period. Our client has internal sales executives regularly earning £2 - £2.5K Bonus per month.
