Advancing People Multilingual - Recruitment Specialists are now recruiting for a German Speaking Sales Manager for a global Events company based in London. As a German speaking Sales Manager you will be instrumental in driving the commercial success of the shows, delivering on personal sales targets for exhibition space and sponsorship to both previous and new customers/partners over the telephone and face-to-face. The Events/Trade Shows are highly focused business events dedicated to hotel owners, general managers, and top-tier professionals within the realm of luxury and boutique hotels. Our client holds three events in their portfolio: London, Amsterdam & Munich.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Generate new business opportunities by proactively selling exhibition space and sponsorship to both existing and new customers.
- Support the Event Manager with accurate floorplan management.
- Ensure that the CRM & prospect database is constantly updated whilst maintaining an accurate stand and sponsorship ledger.
- Work closely with the show team, including Operations, Marketing and Project coordinators.
- Line managerial responsibilities for a Commercial Executive, supporting and coaching them to ensure their KPIs are achieved.
- Attend industry networking events and competitor shows, identifying commercial opportunities, gaining industry feedback and increasing your knowledge of the sector.
Person Specification:
- Fluent in German.
- Self-motivated and performance-driven, with a desire to achieve goals and attain commercial success.
- Ability to demonstrate advanced objection handling, negotiation and closing skills both over the phone and face to face.
- Great verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise tasks and manage workload with effective sales planning.
- Experience of writing detailed partnership and sponsorship proposals.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
This is a full-time Permanent position offering an annual basic salary of up to £45,000 with a £60,000 OTE + Attractive Company benefits. The role offers flexibility to work from home 1 day a week.
