Advancing People - Multilingual Recruitment Specialists are recruiting a Brazilian or Portuguese speaking Buyer for their client based in Colchester, Essex.
Our client are a global procurement specialist who supply OEM and maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) spare parts worldwide to a number of different industries.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Source and procure products and materials from Brazilian-speaking suppliers, ensuring the best balance of cost, quality and service.
- Manage supplier documentation, contracts and purchasing records accurately.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers across South American and beyond
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms and delivery schedules to maximise value for the business.
- Monitor inventory levels and place purchase orders to ensure uninterrupted supply.
- Track supplier performance, resolving any issues relating to quality, delivery or availability.
- Identify new suppliers and sourcing opportunities to improve product range and reduce costs.
Person Specification
- Fluent in

- Previous experience in a

Supply Chain role.
- Proven ability to negotiate with suppliers and secure competitive pricing.
- Experience managing supplier relationships and resolving supply chain issues.
