Who are we looking for? Dedicated individuals who blend technical passion with the honesty and empathy needed for client consulting. Someone who thrives in an agile environment, balancing their technical prowess with the pragmatic needs of the project.
For the Project Management role, we expect them to manage data projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with client objectives and deliverables using Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Required Tools and Technologies
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, GitHub projects or similar, to develop and manage a backlog.
- Certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile Scrum Master are advantageous.
Other experience we like, but isn’t essential
- Familiarity with modern data platforms, including Databricks
- Knowledge of data tools such as ADF, Power BI, SQL, or Python
- Understanding of Data Lakehouse architecture and implementation patterns
Skills and Approaches
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies including Agile or Scrum.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience working within both a data analytics and a consulting environment.
- Systems thinking approach to managing interdependencies and complexities within projects.
- Clear communication, leaving little room for ambiguity.
- Ability to help customers and team members prioritise workloads, so that they maximise delivery value.
- Facilitation of scrum ceremonies, such as Sprint Planning, Playbacks, and Stand‐ups so that communication is open between stakeholders and the delivery team.
- Understanding team strengths and dependencies, so that the appropriate team members can be used most effectively.
- Identifies and mitigates risk quickly and clearly, while working with the team to overcome blockers.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging feedback and implementing lessons learned.
