In this role you will be key in assisting our Design Engineers in the digitising of Electricity and Water Utility infrastructure projects. From digitising budget design to as-laid records, you will ensure that drawings are accurate, compliant and delivered within agreed timescales.
You will…
- Assist the Design Engineers & Technical Coordinators in delivering Electrical, Fibre and Water infrastructure design drawings using AutoCAD.
- Ensure drawings are accurate, compliant and delivered within agreed timescales.
- Re-draft external design elements and hand sketches on to AutoCAD templates.
- Offer full drawing office support to our Clients, Technical and Operations teams.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients.
- Maintain our drawing record database.
You will need…
- Proven experience within an Auto CAD position – 2D is essential.
- To maintain keen attention to drawing detail.
- To produce and develop general arrangement drawings.
- Strong all-round IT skills including MS Suite.
- Analytical and evaluation skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver excellent customer service.
- Qualified to A-level or equivalent or NVQ in a design field would be advantageous.
- AutoCAD qualification would be desirable.
- Experience within the utilities or construction sector is preferred.
