Advanced Medical Management & Consulting is a leading medical management group that provides comprehensive billing, coding, and revenue cycle management services to Urgent Care and Family Practice Clinics across the north Denver metro area. We are a team of professionals who are not only skilled and knowledgeable but also deeply committed to making a positive impact in the lives of our patients.
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on IT support specialist who supports all IT operations for our healthcare facilities. This person assists with the development, implementation, and use of technology, working closely with staff, managers, and external resources to assess needs and implement solutions. This position reports to the IT Infrastructure Manager.
Responsibilities:- Respond promptly to support requests, tickets, and inquiries, ensuring timely resolution and prioritising urgent business needs in collaboration with clinic managers and leadership.
- Install, configure, and maintain laptops, desktop computers, printers, scanners, and related hardware across all clinic and management locations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for laptops, desktops, network-connected devices, and peripheral equipment.
- Document, track, and monitor IT issues, resolutions, and status updates utilising designated project management and ticketing systems.
- Perform systems administration tasks including creating, modifying, and disabling user profiles and accounts in accordance with organisational policies.
- Support employee technology lifecycle processes including onboarding and offboarding, provisioning equipment, and ensuring proper access to required systems.
- Keep current with emerging technology trends and best practices; evaluate and recommend solutions that improve performance, security, and efficiency.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventories of IT equipment, licenses, and software; ensure documentation, manuals, procedures, and installation checklists are current and accessible.
- Regularly meet with and report outstanding needs, risks, and status updates to the IT Infrastructure Manager.
- Monitor system performance and proactively adjust or escalate issues to ensure business continuity and security.
- Assist in maintaining network security and communication systems, escalating complex issues to senior IT personnel as appropriate.
- Uphold cybersecurity best practices and support compliance with organisational policies and applicable regulations.
- Associates degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 1 year of experience in IT.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft servers, laptops, desktops, iPads, etc.
- Understanding of healthcare IT environments, preferably urgent or primary care.
- Experience with VoIP phone systems (Comcast Business).
- Network troubleshooting for switches, laptops, desktops, iPad, etc.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, service-oriented mindset.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience in healthcare field.
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance, healthcare IT standards and best practices.
- Cisco Certification.
- Microsoft Server knowledge.
- Athena EMR experience.
- Ubiquiti Wireless, Google Workspace, Microsoft O365 administration.
