About Us:
Advanced Residential Maintenance (ARM) is a growing, friendly business providing maintenance services to a diverse portfolio of commercial and domestic clients, as well as the third sector, local and national government facilities, and housing associations across the UK. We have experienced significant growth and are looking to expand our team with a FENSA Registered, multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Adhere to mandatory health and safety requirements and follow team leader/manager instructions
- Carry out a wide range of domestic and commercial property maintenance, decorating, and building works
- Perform UPVC Door/Window and Roofline fitting along with other general maintenance, including:
- Roof repairs
- Plastering
- Carpentry / Joinery
- Installation of FD30s
- Plumbing
- Fencing
- Garden clearance and maintenance
- Kitchen/bathroom fitting
- Damp proofing
- Groundworks
- Bricklaying
The above is not an exhaustive list of duties. You may be required to perform different tasks as required to support our business and customers' needs.
The Ideal Candidate:
- FENSA Registered & experienced in property maintenance, self-motivated, and able to work independently or positively within a team with a positive can-do attitude
- Takes pride in quality workmanship and meeting deadlines
- Capable of diagnosing maintenance issues and implementing effective solutions
- Good awareness of health and safety regulations on-site
- Available to work away from home if required
- Excellent communication, time management, prioritising, problem-solving and organisational skills
- Ability to build rapport with colleagues and customers
Essential Requirements:
- FENSA Registered
- UK driving licence (maximum of 3 points)
- Physically fit for manual handling tasks
- Minimum of 2 years' experience
- Strong IT skills
- Must be self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude and able to work unsupervised
- Willingness to work away from home if required
Desirable Experience & Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2 / equivalent or above
- FAAW qualified
- Relevant trade certifications
Location & Working Hours:
Home Based in the East Midlands, covering the wider Midlands and surrounding areas. Travel radius of 70+ miles; occasional overnight stays required (expenses paid). 43 hours per week.
