Sales Estimator in Taunton

Recruiting for the Scientific, Hi-tech, Semiconductor, Ultra High Vacuum, Photonics, Optics and similar sectors …A well-established manufacturer of high precision electronics components is now looking for a Sales Estimator to join their Sales and Administration Team.

Reporting to the Sales Manager you will be responsible for producing quotations, based on customer requirements. You will need to keep accurate workings and follow up.

Once a quote has been presented to the customer, you will follow up and where an order is made you will raise the sales orders, bills of materials and associated paperwork.

You should enjoy providing good customer service and strong communication skills. You will work with the customers and suppliers to detail the quotes and with the Engineering and Sales teams to ensure manufacturability of the quoted product.

You will maintain a high level of product knowledge.

In addition to occasional visits to customer sites, you will also attend networking and promotional events.

ExperienceIdeally you will have experience of sales estimating in a manufacturing environment.

You should be familiar with Microsoft packages and production software packages and have an understanding of technical drawings.

Additional InformationCandidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK. Copies of Passports and Visas will be requested for verification purposes.

Job TermPermanent, Full Time, Onsite with visits to customers / suppliers and trade events.

SalaryDepending on experience, in the region of £28-38k per annum.
