A well established manufacturer of components for electronic, optoelectronic and semiconductor products is now looking for a Precision Machining Technician to carry out various machining and associated processes in the production of precision components. The role will involve mounting, machining, cleaning off and checking work amongst other associated production tasks. You will work following drawings and works instructions, ensuring you meet the high Health & Safety/COSHH standards. You will be working in a small team working 35 hours per week on standard day shifts with flexibility.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Previous machining experience would be preferred, but also a person not long out of college would be considered.
- Level 2/3 in Engineering preferred.
Additional Information:
- Candidates MUST be eligible to work and live in the UK without requiring sponsorship. Copies of Passports and Visas will be requested for verification.
Salary / benefits: c £24-26k per annum / £13.41-14.41 per hour depending upon experience
