My client, who is a leading manufacturer of specialist electronic equipment, now seeks a Graduate Production Engineer with a strong background in Electronics, to join their growing team based close to Nottingham.
The successful candidate will be a recent electronics graduate, who is keen and enthusiastic to start a career in electronic manufacturing. With support from my client, you will undertake a range of continuous improvement initiatives for all aspects of product manufacture, from best practice for solder joints to determining and implementing any necessary in-process functional testing.
You will support and maintain production equipment, in-house tooling and test fixtures and conduct root cause analysis as well as implement corrective actions and preventive actions to resolve recurring production issues. You will also provide training and technical support to production operators, and work with the design team to lead the transfer of new and custom products into production.
In addition, you will also define, prepare, audit and maintain production documentation including standard operating procedures, work instructions and control plans. You will also support the collection and monitoring of process metrics (Yield, Scrap) and report to management.
