We are now looking for a Supply Chain Improvement Lead to join a new manufacturing facility in South Gloucestershire. Reporting directly to the Head of Supply Chain, and working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, you will be pivotal in driving supply chain performance enhancements through lean methodology and the continuous optimization of processes, systems, and tools.
You will actively collaborate within the Supply Chain team and lead cross-functional teams to design and implement strategic projects that will create a major impact on performance. We are looking for an experienced supply chain professional who excels in driving continuous improvement while delivering sustainable business benefits. As a valued member of the Management Team, you will play a key role in driving change and process improvements within the Supply Chain operations.
Through defining and implementing best practice processes, you will develop standardised operating procedures and reporting for areas including Order Book, Shortage, Cost, Supplier Performance, ERP compliance and ultimately achievement of Supply Chain KPIs. Develop and implement improvement governance, including visual management, that enables cross functional engagement, idea generation, prioritisation and effective escalation.
Experience and Qualifications: We are looking for 5 or more years’ of Supply Chain experience (Purchasing Manager or other), plus MCIPS or similar degree and a Project Management qualification. You should have a strong background in Supply Chain Management, ERP and MRP systems. Further you should have a proven track record in Process Improvement with proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma or similar process improvement methodologies.
Additional Information: Candidates must be eligible to work and live in the UK and hold a full driving licence. Copies of Passports / Visas will be requested for verification.
