We are looking for: Advanced Systems Group LLC. is seeking an experienced Live Broadcast Coordinator to join our high-performing team. The Live Broadcast Coordinator supports the Live Broadcast Supervisor in executing day-to-day crewing operations across live broadcast events. This role is responsible for overnight coverage, real-time staffing coordination, and front support for flex crews. Acting as a key operational bridge, the Associate Live Broadcast Coordinator ensures continuity across shifts, maintains clear communication with onsite personnel, and helps uphold a high standard of delivery during live productions. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, live environments and is comfortable making real-time decisions to support seamless broadcast operations. This position is part of our Flex Workforce. As a Flex team member, you’ll work on a project-to-project basis, supporting a variety of leading media and technology clients. Flex roles are ongoing and dynamic—work may vary in cadence, length, and scope depending on client needs. This setup offers flexibility, exposure to top-tier companies, and the chance to grow your skills across multiple exciting assignments.
Estimated schedule: 35 days (10-hour days) from May 2026 through July 2026 (Specific schedules will vary by project and client engagement.)
Responsibilities:
- Overnight Operations & Coverage: Provide overnight and off-hours coverage to ensure continuous crewing support across live events. Monitor schedules in real time and address gaps, callouts, or last-minute changes. Ensure seamless handoff between day and night operations, maintaining continuity across shifts.
- Onsite & Crew Coordination: Act as the primary onsite contact during overnight shifts for all flex and freelance crew. Facilitate site access, onboarding, and readiness for scheduled personnel. Serve as liaison between crew, production, and control room teams to ensure alignment.
- Scheduling & Staffing Support: Support the Manager in executing staffing plans across multiple concurrent events. Assist with crew confirmations, availability tracking, and last-minute bookings. Help maintain accuracy in scheduling tools and staffing systems.
- Production Support: Provide supplemental coverage to the Live Broadcast Supervisor during periods of high event concurrency. Assist in coordinating crew needs in alignment with production requirements and times. Support live event execution by ensuring appropriate staffing levels are maintained.
- Communication & Escalation: Serve as a key point of contact for overnight staffing-related inquiries and issues. Escalate critical staffing or operational challenges to the Manager as needed. Maintain clear and timely communication across all stakeholders.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure accurate documentation of staffing changes, incidents, and shift notes. Contribute to post-event reporting and handover summaries. Support continuous improvement of staffing workflows and overnight processes.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in live event operations, scheduling, or production coordination.
- Experience working in shift-based or overnight operational environments.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in real time.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in fast-paced or high-pressure settings.
- Ability to problem-solve quickly and escalate appropriately.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience supporting live broadcast, control room, or streaming operations.
- Familiarity with scheduling & communication tools (e.g., Airtable, Monday.com, Slack or similar).
- Experience working with freelance or flex labor pools.
- Understanding of production workflows and live event logistics.
Working Conditions: This role requires overnight, weekend, and holiday availability in line with live event schedules. May involve both onsite and remote coordination responsibilities.
Compensation: This project-based role offers an hourly pay rate of £30 - 37.50 GBP per hour depending on experience.
