Description

Here at Valpak, we are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role offering remote working, with the expectation of attending our Stratford-upon-Avon office approximately once per quarter.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 3 (Product Owners and a Business Analyst)
  • Create and drive product vision, roadmap, and goals and translate into product features and planned work
  • Scope the product solution and define user journey, user stories, and process flows
  • Define and develop product strategy and roadmap to drive targeted business outcomes in alignment with corporate strategies
  • Ensure Delivery through participation and/or lead scrum ceremonies, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos, and other Scrum-related meetings
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog and oversee the development stages
  • Work closely with engineering teams to drive product development
  • Collaborate closely with global business development teams and other stakeholders and act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding of the product
  • Own relationships with key customers; understand the industry and product-related landscapes, be the voice of the customer and feedback user inputs

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • 6+ years of industry experience as a Product Manager within a technology environment, with a progressive record of successful delivery of complex products
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in cross-functional teams & a passion for developing and guiding others
  • Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Focus on the customer; celebrates the success of others in the business
  • Highly organised and self-motivated
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Effective working in a team environment and independently
  • Bachelor, Master or MBA in technology or business
  • Background in Circular Economy, Environmental Sciences, Sustainability Reporting or similar fields (desirable)
