About the role

The purpose of the Data Integrity Auditor within our data insight team is to uphold the highest standards of data accuracy, reliability, and compliance in our Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) reporting.

This role is crucial in ensuring that all data submitted for compliance purposes is thoroughly validated and verified, maintaining the integrity of our reporting processes.

The Data Integrity Auditor is dedicated to conducting thorough sign offs, identifying discrepancies, and implementing improvements to our data management practices, thereby supporting our commitment to regulatory compliance and enhancing the overall quality of our EPR compliance reports.

  • Data Validation and Verification
  • Conduct thorough sign offs to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Verify data against regulatory standards and internal policies.
  • Identify and correct data discrepancies and errors.
  • Implement validation protocols to maintain data quality.
  • Verify data consistency between reports and source systems.
  • Data Quality Assessment
  • Assess data for accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
  • Identify patterns or trends indicating potential data issues.
  • Recommend improvements based on quality assessments.
  • Track and report on data quality metrics.
  • Implement risk management plans. Monitor the effectiveness of risk mitigation efforts.
  • Process Improvement Recommendations
  • Identify inefficiencies in current data management processes.
  • Develop and propose process improvements.
  • Implement changes to enhance data quality and compliance.
  • Monitor the impact of process changes.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Conduct training sessions for the data management team.
  • Offer ongoing support and guidance to team members.
  • Work with IT and operations to ensure data integrity.
  • Share audit findings and recommendations with other departments.
  • Regulatory Updates
  • Stay informed about changes in EPR regulations.
  • Ensure ongoing adherence to current regulations.
  • What we need from you
  • Proven experience in data management, quality control, or a related field.
  • Previous experience conducting sign offs preferable.
  • Strong knowledge of packaging and waste regulations in different jurisdictions.
  • Experience in creating and reviewing compliance reports.
  • Industry specific knowledge relevant to the organisation's EPR compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data validation.
  • Proficiency in data management and analysis tools (e. g., EPIC, Excel) preferable.
  • Excellent time management, communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and provide training on data integrity.
