About the role

  • Manage the full customer lifecycle for account clients, ensuring satisfaction at every stage.
  • Handle procurement and quoting for all services, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
  • Monthly sales target - £60k based on a 21-day working month.
  • Monthly margin target – 24% average sales margin.
  • Outbound call activity – Minimum average 10 calls a day.
  • 50% customer base spending per month.
  • Having an active sales pipeline - Conversion of non-spending to spending customers.
  • Consistent regular contact with customer base.
  • Assist the finance department with queries relating to the account.
  • Provide exceptional customer service that drives retention and positive reviews.
  • Accurately process orders and collections in a timely manner.
  • Effectively manage Sales Force tasks assigned to you in a timely manner.
  • Maintain excellent communication and responsiveness via phone and email.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and the internal supply chain team to meet customer needs efficiently.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with account customers, becoming their one-stop shop for waste solutions.

What we need from you

  • Proven experience in account management, business development, customer service, or sales (preferably in waste, logistics, or service industries).
  • Experience in working in a target-based environment.
  • Proven experience in pricing and tendering processes, including the calculation and application of VAT and margin percentages.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in order processing.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer literate, and experience in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer engagement.
