As Client Development Director, you’ll lead a portfolio of high‑profile fashion clients, overseeing returns operations across multiple warehouses. This isn’t about winning new business; it’s about deepening relationships, expanding services, and helping customers overcome operational challenges as their volumes and ambitions grow. As a trusted senior contact, you’ll support clients through peak, drive continuous improvement, and work closely with operations, solutions design, and finance to turn issues into opportunities — driving service excellence, incremental revenue, and true long‑term partnerships. This is a full‑time, permanent role offering hybrid working, with site presence at our Bradford (BD12) location. The package includes a salary of £95,000–£105,000, car allowance opportunity to earn a bonus, alongside a structured development plan with clear opportunities for progression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver long‑term client strategies that drive retention, sustainable growth, and profitability.

- Represent the voice of the customer internally, balancing customer needs with operational capability and commercial objectives.
- Align cross‑functional teams around shared customer outcomes, service excellence, and commercial goals.
- Identify unmet needs and transformational opportunities to shape future customer demand and enhance partnership value.
What we need from you:
- You bring proven experience in a similar senior commercial or client‑facing role, ideally within a comparable environment and customer base.
- You know what good looks like and how to deliver it consistently.
- You’re an exceptional communicator, confident in the boardroom, credible in technical discussions, and able to adapt your style to influence at every level.
- You have a strong commercial mindset, with a clear understanding of revenue generation, cost management, and key financial metrics, using this insight to drive sustainable growth and profitability.
- You’re skilled at anticipating client and market needs, translating insight into clear, value‑driven strategies that align with wider business objectives.
- A customer‑centric leader, you put client experience and insight at the heart of decision‑making, building long‑term value, trust, and loyalty.
- You also lead and develop high‑performing teams, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
