We are looking for an organised, proactive, and detail-focused Stock Control Team Leader to join our operations team. In this role, you will take ownership of stock accuracy, lead and support the stock control team, and ensure that our inventory processes run efficiently and effectively. You’ll work closely with warehouse, purchasing, and supply chain teams to maintain optimal stock levels and drive continuous improvement.

This is a permanent position working 37.5 hours per week across our 2pm-10pm shift at our Sheffield, Chapeltown warehouse. In return, you'll receive a competitive salary of £14.11 per hour, along with a structured development plan that includes training, mentorship, and clear opportunities for career growth within our organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, motivate, and support the stock control team to achieve operational targets.
  • Ensure accurate stock levels through regular cycle counts, audits, and investigations.
  • Oversee stock movements, discrepancies, and adjustments within the warehouse management system.
  • Identify and resolve stock issues quickly, collaborating with other departments where needed.
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of stock activity and reporting.
  • Assist in developing and improving stock control procedures and best practices.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • Previous experience in stock control, inventory management, or warehouse operations.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of stock control systems or WMS software.
