Senior Site Engineer/Surveyor
We are currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced Setting Out Site Engineer / Engineering Surveyor who is based in London has the ability to work in a dynamic environment to join our team.
The role will involve carrying out Engineering Surveying tasks, mainly Setting Out, As-Built Surveys and Topographical Surveys on various sites across Greater London and surrounding counties.
The role involves daily commute to different site and therefore a driving license and own vehicle is a must.
The suitable Site Engineer would have completed a BTEC HND or a Degree in Civil Engineering/Land Surveying and has:
- A full clean UK driving license and white Surveyors or Engineers CSCS Card.
- Setting out experience using a robotic Total Station and GPS surveying equipment.
- Surveying experience carrying out topographic and measured surveys.
- An ability to work hard and learn to learn new skills, independently and unsupervised, as well as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure and solve problems.
- Ability to work outdoors.
- IT experience, including Microsoft Office and Auto CAD is a must.
- Interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
- Excellent people, project and time management skills
- Point coding using N4CE (preferable).
The position is suitable for a Site Engineer who has a minimum 2 years experience within the civil engineering industry and looking to work in a wide ranging environment on some of the largest projects across the UK.
