Are you an experienced Mig Welder/Fabricator looking for a new opportunity? At Advanced Resourcing we specialise in supplying temporary and permanent staff within manufacturing & engineering across the UK. We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our leading manufacturing team in the Telford area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication and welding, with the ability to work with mild steel, including bespoke sheet metal. This role requires proficiency in using both hand and power tools, as well as a solid understanding of engineering drawings.

Duties:

  • Fabricate components according to specifications and engineering drawings.
  • Perform welding tasks to create sheet metal components.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and resolve any issues that arise during fabrication.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in fabrication and welding.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical drawings.
  • Proficiency in using various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
  • Experience working with sheet metal.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety practices.

Package:

  • 12 week temp to perm.
  • £14.60 pay rate including shift allowance.
  • Afternoon shift 2pm till 1am (part time option available).
