We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join a manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components with precision and efficiency, ensuring high-quality standards are met. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in welding and fabrication, looking to contribute to a dynamic and safety-conscious environment.
Duties:
- Operate MIG welding equipment to join metal parts according to technical specifications and safety guidelines.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical instructions.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal components.
- Perform fabrication tasks including cutting, grinding, and finishing metal surfaces.
- Conduct quality checks on welds and finished products to ensure compliance with standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist in the assembly of fabricated parts into final products or structures.
- Troubleshoot minor issues with welding equipment and perform basic maintenance as required.
Skills:
- Proven experience in MIG welding.
- Strong knowledge of structural welding techniques and standards.

The Package:
- £15 - £16 pay rate inclusive of shift allowance.
