Are you an experienced punch press setter looking for a new opportunity? At Advanced Resourcing we specialise in supplying temporary and permanent staff within manufacturing & engineering across the UK. We are currently recruiting for a large sheet metal company that works on various bespoke products for a number of companies in the Shropshire/West Midlands area. Due to an increase in orders, they are looking for an experienced punch press setter to join their team.
The Job Role
- Setting and operating punch press machines
- Working on Amada presses
- Reading from engineering drawings and liaising with the design team
- Working with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
- Working on bespoke products
- Carrying out quality checks on finished products
- Working to productivity targets
- Working with raw materials
- Adhering to health & safety regulations
Experience/Requirements
- Must be experienced on both Amada and Trumpf
- Read engineering drawings to a high standard
- Comfortable with physical work
- Happy to work to productivity targets
The Package
- 12 week temporary to permanent contract
- Starting rate £14.50 - £15.50
- Working hours either days or nights
