We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder fabricator to a manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components with precision and efficiency, ensuring high-quality standards are met. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in welding and fabrication, looking to contribute to a dynamic and safety-conscious environment. Duties * Operate MIG welding equipment to join metal parts according to technical specifications and safety guidelines * Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical instructions * Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal components * Perform fabrication tasks including cutting, grinding, and finishing metal surfaces * Conduct quality checks on welds and finished products to ensure compliance with standards * Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations * Assist in the assembly of fabricated parts into final products or structures * Troubleshoot minor issues with welding equipment and perform basic maintenance as required Skills * Proven experience in MIG welding; * Strong knowledge of structural welding techniques and standards * Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment * Mechanical knowledge relevant to assembly processes and material handling * Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics accurately * Good understanding of safety procedures related to welding and manufacturing environments * Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
