Advanced Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Junior CAD design engineer from a sheet metal and fabrication background to join our client's growing workforce. This is a great role for an enthusiastic candidate that is looking to progress their career and build on their design knowledge and experience. The successful candidate will work alongside the Design Manager to help expand their current product portfolio and capabilities. Your designs will support our clients' highly regarded customers, taking their ideas from concept to full design ready for manufacture.
Duties will include (but not be limited to):
- Creating cost-effective solutions to the creation of current and new products
- Designing complete systems that service our clients' current and future contracts
- Validation via reviews, stress analysis, assembly tolerances and testing
Necessary Skills:
- Competent in the use of CAD software (Solidworks)
- Experienced in sheet metal/fabrication designing
- Experience in testing and experimenting with prototypes
- Excellent communication skills
- Fully competent in using various measuring equipment
- Attention to detail
- Able to meet and exceed targets
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE
