We are currently working with a leading steel manufacturing company based in Dudley, who are expanding their team and seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join their night shift. Duties * MIG welder structural mild steel. * Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical diagrams. * Utilise hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to prepare materials for welding. * Cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other materials using appropriate tools. * Conduct quality checks on completed welds to ensure structural integrity and adherence to safety standards. * Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations. * Assist in the assembly of finished products, ensuring precision and accuracy throughout the process. Experience * Proven experience in MIG welding within a manufacturing or fabrication environment. * Familiarity with various hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment. * Strong understanding of structural work and basic mechanical principles. * Experience with assembly processes and mechanical knowledge is advantageous. * Demonstrated commitment to safety procedures and quality standards in previous roles.
