We are currently recruiting for a large sheet metal company that works on various bespoke products for a number of companies in the Shropshire/West Midlands area. Due to an increase in orders, they are looking for an experienced brake press setter to join their team.
The Job Role:
- Setting and operating a CNC laser machine
- Working on Bystronic machines
- Reading from engineering drawings and liaising with the design team
- Working with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
- Working on bespoke products
Experience/Requirements:
- Experience on Bystronic machines is advantageous
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Comfortable with physical work
The Package:
- 12-week temporary to permanent contract
- Starting rate is £14 for the AM shift, £14.50 for PM shift
- Working hours are rotating shifts: 06:00-14:30, 14:00-22:30
