The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced

Senior Ecologist to support a major infrastructure programme.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and confident ecologist who can hit the ground running , work across a broad range of topics and engage effectively with both senior management and frontline teams.

The successful candidate will be expected to

  • Provide expert ecological advice across a range of projects and activities.
  • Work confidently with senior stakeholders and frontline teams.
  • Influence and collaborate effectively across multiple disciplines.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and a varied workload.
  • Deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision.
  • Build effective working relationships across different teams and functions.
  • Support the delivery of ecological requirements across a major infrastructure environment.

About You

We are looking for someone who is

  • An experienced and confident ecologist.
  • Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Able to influence and collaborate across different disciplines.
  • Adaptable and able to manage a broad range of ecological topics.
  • Delivery-focused, proactive and able to hit the ground running.
  • Experienced working within complex infrastructure or similarly regulated environments.
