We are looking for a Waste Management Supervisor to oversee waste transfer station and haulage operations. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a team efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise HGV drivers and waste operatives, ensuring compliance with legislation and health & safety.
- Plan rotas, schedules, and logistics for smooth site operations.
- Maintain accurate records and manage performance through staff reviews.
- Provide training, inductions, and toolbox talks to team members.
- Coordinate with contractors, fleet teams, and site stakeholders.
Skills & Experience:
- Administration (rotas, schedules, filing, emailing).
- Microsoft Word & Excel (beginner-intermediate).
- Logical thinking, planning, and eye for detail.
- Supervision experience in waste or haulage operations.
- Full driving licence; HGV licence or willingness to work towards.
