An experienced Transport Planner is required to join a Strategic Transportation team within a local authority environment. This is a key role supporting the delivery of transport strategy and providing technical input into the planning process.
The Role
- Review and negotiate Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans submitted as part of planning applications.
- Provide formal written comments and recommendations.
- Attend and contribute at Planning Committee.
- Support the development of transport strategies.
- Represent the authority at stakeholder meetings.
