ARM have an exciting opportunity for a Property Engineer. You will manage internal and external suppliers for properties and parts and provide in depth technical knowledge and guidance, to support the DCSV objectives and technical development, delivering on time and within budget.
The Role:
- Design, construction, delivery and update of properties and models, both internally and with external suppliers
- Work with stakeholders to ensure deliverables meet all requirements
- Ability to demonstrate deliverables status at any time with Key Performance Indicators.
- Manage workload on a daily basis and respond to both long term and short term task requests.
- Manage any outsourced work in the same technical area, including supplier management.
- Budgetary requirements to meet KPI objectives.
- Sourcing process, from engineering side, including RFQ and technical levelling
- Manage property/model BOM and part sourcing in conjunction with Design Check engineers and part owners
Requirements:
- Appropriate experience working in the Automotive Industry or related industries.
- Experience of design and construction of automotive (or similar industry) reference models and properties
- Project management including: development timing plans/gantt charts, tasks prioritisation and critical path and risk identification.
- Strong influencing skills and communication, with a commitment to building positive relationships with other functions, and Group or external suppliers.
- Ability to share technical knowledge effectively with others, coach and guide as appropriate.
- Good business awareness and ability to make and influence strategic decisions within business context.
