An established and fast-growing professional services firm is seeking a Transaction Tax Manager to join its expanding deals teams in London and across the UK. This role offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of transactions, supporting private equity clients, investors and corporates through complex, high-value situations. The position suits an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys combining technical expertise with commercial problem-solving.
Requirements
- ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified (or equivalent)
- Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation
- Proven experience working on transaction tax projects
- Ability to manage multiple assignments in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly
- Collaborative approach with an interest in mentoring and team development
Responsibilities
- Lead tax due diligence, structuring and advisory projects across a range of transactions
- Manage due diligence processes independently, while supporting on more complex engagements with senior stakeholders
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing timely advice and identifying opportunities
- Review work prepared by junior team members and provide coaching and guidance
- Contribute to the development of internal processes, tools and ways of working
- Support the development and progression of junior team members
