My client, in the defence industry, are looking for an SC Cleared Software Product Support Engineer to join their fast-paced team on an initial 6 month contract.
Responsibilities:
- Support in-service missile-system middleware solutions.
- Investigate and fix issues as they arise.
- Debugging and engineering investigation.
- Discuss solutions with customers.
Requirements:
- Experience with C or C++ (At least one of these is essential), Ada, and/or JavaScript, shell scripting languages with a solid background in software engineering.
- Experience configuring and maintaining Linux OSs (Redhat and/or Ubuntu) including Kernel configuration and Kernel test.
- A passion for software engineering, with the ability to innovate and think critically to understand and solve complex software problems.
- Clear communication of technical matters to non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable working with a team in a collaborative environment.
