Software Engineer (Golang/iOS)

Bristol (Hybrid) 2-3 days per week on site

£500-800 per day - Depending on level of experience

We're looking for engineers who enjoy building the platforms, APIs and framework components that power mobile applications at scale.

This role combines backend engineering, cloud-native development and iOS framework development, giving engineers the opportunity to work across Go microservices, Kubernetes infrastructure, API platforms and reusable iOS SDKs.

On the job responsibilities

• Designing and developing REST and gRPC APIs used by digital products.
• Building scalable microservices using Golang.
• Creating and maintaining reusable iOS frameworks and SDKs using Swift.
• Deploying and supporting applications on Kubernetes.
• Automating build, deployment and infrastructure processes through CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.
• Improving platform reliability, observability and security.
• Collaborating with architects, product teams and engineers across the wider business.
• Supporting engineering best practice, code quality and technical standards.
