As the SMT Operator, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.
You will be involved in:
- Responsible for carrying out machine manufacturing and self-certification tasks
- Hand soldering Circuit Card Assemblies to IPC 610 & 001
- Fine soldering under magnification
- Surface mount and through-hole component assembly
- Undertake detailed standard assembly/manufacturing activities
- Operations of equipment, to build circuit card assemblies including; DEK screen print machine, MyCronic Pick and place machine, ERSA reflow solder oven, Koh Young Automated optical inspection
Your skillset may include:
- Knowledge of circuit card assembly
- Read and interpret layouts
- ESD training
- PC literate
- Hand soldering Circuit Card Assemblies to IPC 610 & 001
- Fine soldering under magnification
- Surface mount and through-hole component assembly
- Undertake detailed standard assembly/manufacturing activities
