What you'll be doing:

  • Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls
  • Operating a range of machine tools including drills, saws, planers and centre lathes
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Inspecting components using precision measuring equipment
  • Maintaining high quality standards while meeting production deadlines

What we're looking for:

  • Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent practical experience
  • Proven CNC programming and setting experience with Heidenhain controls (essential)
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and carry out workshop calculations
  • Experience working safely with overhead cranes
  • FeatureCAM experience would be an advantage
