Have you completed an Aviation Apprenticeship or similar? Do you have experience working on Helicopters? Do you want to work with an industry-leading company? If your answer to these is yes, then this could be the role for you!
As the Aircraft Fitter, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.
You will be involved in:
- Provide engineering operational support to Flight Operations
- Accomplishment of Maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by nominated Shift Supervisor or Certifying Engineer
- Work to high standards to ensure continued safe operation of the aircraft
- Completion of maintenance, including airframe structure, power plant, mechanical, and electrical systems in accordance with written instructions laid down by OEM
- Conduct off-aircraft mechanical, power plant, component, and composite technical work in workshops as required
- Assist in day to day running of the aircraft Hangar, including aircraft movement and general housekeeping responsibilities
Your skillset may include:
- Apprenticeship in Aircraft Maintenance or related discipline
- Thorough knowledge of engine and airframe systems
- Knowledge of specialised test equipment relating to engine and airframe systems
- Knowledge of: Flight/Airport Operations, Aircraft Line Maintenance, Aircraft Base Maintenance
- Knowledge of UK Military Aviation and UK MFTS
- Knowledge of CAA Part and Part M regulations
- Experience of Flight Operations and Line Maintenance
