ARM have an exciting opportunity for a Shipping Coordinatorto join a high-end interior designer on a permanent basis.
The Role:
- Run the shipping from start to finish including ordering crates for the items being shipped.
- Create load sheets and route plans; sequence loads for safest handling and fastest install.
- Issue daily pick lists and work orders; prioritise bays and tasks for the warehouse team.
- Make sure that everything leaving the warehouse is checked out on Sortly.
- Monitor progress from the office and coordinate with the warehouse manager to streamline processes.
- Run regular cycle counts; investigate variances and implement fixes.
- Keep clear digital trails: photos on receipt, pre-load and post-install
Requirements:
- Background in logistics/warehouse coordination or site-logistics for installations/FF&E.
- Confident with delivery documentation (CMR, commercial invoices, Incoterms), post-Brexit UK-EU basics.
- Strong planner: can juggle multiple jobs, drivers and changing site constraints.
- Systems: Excel/Sheets, inventory apps (e.g., Sortly), shared drives; comfortable with photo-based records.
- Calm communicator with drivers, warehouse crew, clients and site managers.
- Detail-driven: notices when a fixing pack or drawing is missing before it leaves.
