Senior Telecoms Engineer (Contract)

Job Title: Senior Communications Engineer Location: Birmingham (Hybrid, min. 2 days per week in office)
Duration: 6-month contract
ARM are seeking a Senior Communications Engineer to join a leading building design consultancy for an exciting 6-month project. This hybrid role involves designing and managing communications systems across multiple sectors, including Nuclear, Defence, and Infrastructure. You\’ll be client-facing, working on high-profile projects while developing your technical and project management skills.

Design and document systems such as CCTV, access control, alarms, BMS, PAVA, and structured cabling.
Manage project work packages, ensuring deadlines and client requirements are met.
Degree (or equivalent) in Communications, Electronic Engineering, or related field.
Experience in designing communications systems for large-scale projects.
Proficient in IP networking, structured cabling, and systems integration.
Experience with BIM tools (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks) is a plus.
