SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR – MANCHESTER/ LEEDS/ YORK – MIN 6 MONTH CONTRACT – £65 to £73 per hour (DOE) ARM is working with a major global infrastructure consultancy, and we are currently recruiting for a senior quantity surveyor to work from a choice of your location in Manchester, Leeds or York (other locations are considered, so please reach out if you’re interested). About You: You should have an appropriate degree and/or are a member (or working towards) of an appropriate professional body (such as MRICS etc). It is important you have a robust background of delivery in a commercial role from main contractor or consultancy. You will have experience with contract management, change control, common forms of contracts (e.g. NEC). What you will be doing: This position will see you balancing risk, opportunity and financial returns in both pre and post contract management. You will focus on the delivery of excellence and carefully estimate costs whilst also calculating material needs. This position will be based from either their Manchester, Leeds or York office but they will consider candidates to work out of any of their regional hub offices. There will be some home working (hybrid) on this role also. What you can expect in return: This role is initially a minimum of 6 months contract and is paying up to £73 per hour depending on experience.
