Responsibilities
- Act as the accountable authority for lifting assurance.
- Standardise lifting governance across sites and ensure alignment with Safe to Start and regulatory requirements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain lifting policy, procedures, and documentation.
- Prepare, review, and approve lift plans and associated safety documentation, including contract lifts.
- Oversee and supervise complex lifting operations when required.
- Provide professional advice and guidance on lifting matters.
- Train and develop a designated staff member to Appointed Person competency level.
- Attend and contribute to relevant meetings, reviews, and working groups.
