Job Description

Rolling Stock Engineer – Vehicles

Location: Stratford, London

Rate: £509 per day (Inside IR35)

Contract: 6-month rolling contract

An experienced Rolling Stock Engineer is required to join a Vehicles Engineering team supporting a major urban rail operator in London.

The role will focus on providing technical support across rolling stock systems, including maintenance support, defect investigation, engineering change, and compliance within a safety-critical environment.

Key requirements:

  • Proven experience in rolling stock / vehicles engineering
  • Strong understanding of rolling stock systems
  • Experience working in regulated rail environments
  • Ability to support fault investigation, assurance, and technical reporting
  • Confident working with depots, suppliers, and internal stakeholders

Experience within metro or large passenger fleet environments is desirable.
