Job Description
We are looking for a qualified Domestic Maintenance Electrician to join our clients growing team, carrying out electrical maintenance, fault finding and repairs across residential properties throughout
London & the Home Counties
, as well as some commercial projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in domestic electrical work, with experience working on solar PV systems and household appliances
. You'll be confident diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and delivering excellent customer service while working independently and as part of a professional team.
This is a mobile role involving travel to customer properties across London and the surrounding Home Counties, so flexibility is essential.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance in domestic properties.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults quickly and safely.
- Service, maintain, and troubleshoot domestic solar PV systems.
- Diagnose and repair electrical household appliances where required.
- Complete electrical testing, inspections, and certification.
- Carry out minor installation and remedial works.
- Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
- Ensure all work complies with current BS 7671 Wiring Regulations and health & safety requirements.
- Complete job reports and documentation accurately.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential).
- Experience in domestic electrical maintenance.
- Experience with solar PV systems and/or domestic appliance diagnostics (preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years' electrical experience.
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
- ECS Gold Card (preferred).
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
