Do you have experience/knowledge of aircraft manufacturing? Do you have lineside and quality inspection experience?
As the Quality Inspector, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.
- Conduct tasks in line with Conformance Engineering principles, leading to a reduction in the Cost of Non-Quality by generation of business KPI's and analysis of trends.
- Data analytical skills to interrogate Quality data sets and provide trend analysis with emphasis on Quality improvements.
- Work alongside the Quality Lineside team, functional teams, and multifunctional teams to identify, deploy and report on Quality Improvement opportunities.
- Facilitate/Lead Quality Improvement Projects (QIP) activities to enable clear ownership of topics, improvement opportunities, and action resolution.
- Escalation of issues impacting the Quality performance occurring in the business by the analysis of KPI trends to mitigate business impacts.
- Facilitate/Lead implementation, application, and coaching of Quality toolsets, processes, and techniques within manufacturing areas to support business requirements (e.g. Review, create, and monitor Operational Surveillance, check criteria to ensure consistent build standards, quality standards and operator competence are obtained within the Plant).
- Conducting and leading Quality investigations into complex/technical issues from the business and customer.
- Have a good knowledge of aircraft manufacturing and previous experience in process improvement.
- Communication and report writing skills.
- Good level of general IT skills (Including Microsoft Excel, Word, Google, etc.) and advantageous if able to create coding/macros.
- Recognised Training in problem-solving techniques & methodology.
- Advanced English and mathematics.
- Background in running data, ability to produce graphs using spreadsheets.
- Worked in Quality Conformance Quality inspections.
