ARM are delighted to be supporting one of our clients with the recruitment of a Procurement Lead on a permanent basis.This position reports to the Procurement Manager and is responsible for managing relationships with suppliers.Responsibilities: Analyse, process, confirm and communicate requirements to the supplier.Review and upload the supplier schedules received from suppliers.Suggest and support implementation of solutions in case of shortages.Reconcile performance with suppliers throughout the month.Measure and analyse supplier performance.Liaise with Purchasing, Supplier Performance Quality Manager (SPQM) and CPM to manage Supplier relationship and risks and other common issues.Establish Supplier visit and meeting schedules, depending on risk and criticality.Requirements: Good working knowledge of ERP system and MRP2 Principles in SAP.Knowledge of Procurement process.Experience in Aerospace would be an advantage.Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).Analytical skills.Negotiating and Influencing skills.Seniority level Mid-Senior levelEmployment type Full-timeJob function PurchasingIndustries Defense and Space ManufacturingThis vacancy is being advertised by Advanced Resource Managers.
