We are recruiting for two experienced Electrical Engineers to join AtkinsRéalis’ Design & Advanced Technology team, supporting major UK water infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver electrical design work on complex multi-disciplinary projects
  • Produce technical documentation including SLDs, Load Schedules, MCC Specifications and Control Philosophies
  • Coordinate Electrical & ICA engineering activities
  • Support project delivery to agreed timelines and budgets
  • Work closely with clients and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Mentor junior engineers and support technical development
  • Ensure designs meet industry standards and quality requirements

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; CEng or IEng preferred
  • Strong electrical design experience within consultancy, industrial or process environments
  • Experience using electrical design software such as Trimble/Amtech
  • Knowledge of HAZOP, earthing, lighting, DSEAR and ATEX practices
  • Water industry experience desirable but not essential
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
