Nuclear Engineer

Role Details:

• Contract
• Onsite – 40 hours per week
• £65 P/H – Inside IR35 – 6 months
• Derby

The Energy Division at ARM is currently recruiting a Nuclear Engineer to be based out of Derby.

What skills we need you to hold:

• Technical Expertise and Safety: Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering principles, specifically in the nuclear industry, with a track record of delivering technical solutions and a responsible attitude towards safety.
• Design and Adaptability: Experience in producing designs and calculations to demonstrate acceptable performance, and authoring key technical documentation.
• Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to liaise with and influence stakeholders at all levels, working effectively as part of a project team.
• Quality Assurance: Reviewing colleagues’ work and presenting findings to clients.

What do you need to succeed:

• Degree qualified within Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• Nuclear Experience – Design, Analysis, and Technical documentation.
• Working experience with ASME, Eurocodes, BS EN, RCC-M.
• Strong knowledge of Nuclear De-fuelling/fuelling/waste maneuvering.
