A leading LNG shipping company with a global presence is recruiting for a Marine Superintendent to join their team in London.

As Marine Superintendent, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on the Operational, Navigational, Cargo / Ballast handling, and Mooring related activities.

Duties will include:

  • Planning responsibilities - Flag inspections, SIRE inspections, internal and external navigation audits, mooring analysis, and risk assessments.
  • Operations responsibilities - Health and safety, manning appointments, recruitment, and selection.
  • Performance monitoring responsibilities - Vessel operations risk reviews.
  • Driving improvement - Supporting and informing the Vessel Manager regarding breakdowns, repairs, navigational passage plans, and disciplinary requirements.

To be considered for this position, you will have sailed as a Senior Deck Officer onboard LNG vessels and have shore-based experience as a Marine Superintendent or in a similar capacity.
